ATV & Hotsprings La Fortuna

All our ATV tours are private and customized with a bilingual guide. Suited for beginners as well as experienced riders. We take easier back roads and trails for families with kids or non-experience riders and more demanding routes for the adventure seekers

We have the best of machines, Honda 520cc, real 4×4, with power steering wheel and power brakes. Our ATVs are not the lighter style used for conventional ATV tours.
Imagine ascending a jungle road into the mountains, with glimpses of the flat lands of La Fortuna de San Carlos and the mighty Arenal Volcano’s top visible on the horizon. Pass through real villages, real farm land, rain forest and plantations. Beauty and authenticity is what you get on this adventure.

And… our ATV Tour takes you to the Hot Springs!

Natural Hot Springs in the heart of an authentic rain forest.

These are not the big crowded commercial hot springs in La Fortuna. The Hot Springs are submerged in the heart of the rain forest. Simple and rustic but pristine, pure, clean, and natural.
Soaking in the natural hot springs after an ATV ride takes you to a step closer to heaven…

What to wear:

Helmets are provided and mandatory

Long pants that can get wet, plus tennis shoes or river shoes (Like Keen). Lightweight light color loose-fitting shirts are most comfortable, sunglasses and a hat or cab (the sun can be pretty intense).

Don’t forget Sunscreen, Bug Spray and Swimming Suite.

You can bring a bag with your stuff, we will carry it with us on the ATVs.

Towels are provided at the Hot Springs. They have changing rooms and a small bar with drinks and a couple of snacks (bring some cash with you, no wallet)

Shoes:that can get wet and dry quickly, (tennis shoes/cross-trainers / river shoes like Keen are advised) No flip flops.

Raincoat or Poncho: You can bring one, for emotional security and to prevent the rain from coming. When you are outside and active the raincoats act only to hold the sweat inside. When it does rain, it is usually very warm and serves well to wash away the sweat and mud you’ve accumulated today. A poncho is more versatile because you can also sit on it, roll up wet clothes in it, and it also gives more breathing room to your arms, etc.

It could be chilly after we get out of the hot springs. Even though we’ll take the most direct route back we sometimes finish the ride in the dark… Night riding is actually great, another treat of the ride. No worries…The ATVs have good lights so it is totally safe.

Transportation from La Fortuna or surrounded areas is available for an extra fee
