This tour is a fantastic experience that takes you on a journey crossing rivers and mountains, with lush greenery providing a perfect habitat for a wide variety of birds and animals, making it a nature lover’s paradise.
The drive features impressive mountains and ocean views. The hike allows you to take in all the beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Along the way, you will discover a breathtaking waterfall. You will also witness a stunning viewpoint that offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape.
During the trip you will see many types of plants, flowers, and trees. You may also see wildlife, including blue Morpho butterflies, scarlet macaws, and toucans. You will be able to cool off and swim in the natural pool areas while enjoying the relaxing sounds of the jungle next to the river.
You will eat at the authentic Costa Rican restaurant named Rancho Shadday, featuring the flavor and hospitality of “Doña Martha”. Located near the waterfall property on a ridgeline with stunning eastward jungle views and westward ocean views, this will be a grand addition to the day’s adventure.

- Duration: approximately 5-6+ hours from pick up to drop off.
- Difficulty: medium/hard. There is a good amount of walking and movement involved, the steps to/from the waterfall are very steep so this activity is not advised for people who may find this challenging. Please consider the physical condition of the participants before booking and during your tour.
- Restrictions: no pregnant women. Children can join the tour under the parent’s acknowledgment of the possible limitations and complications of outdoor activities with younger participants.
