-Tours run daily, all year round.
-All payments in Costa Rica can have a separately added legal tax charge of up to 13%, this charge is commonly represented by the acronym IVA.
-US cash is always recommended to avoid confusion over exchange rates and extra charges. In this area, US dollars are accepted pretty much everywhere so there’s very little need to make any exchange to costarrican colones. Also, most ATM’s will give you US dollars.
-All participants of physically demanding tours (such as rafting, surfing, rappelling, waterfalls, hiking, kayaking, etc) must be in a state of physical, mental and social well-being, must have swimming skills and must be comfortable with rough environments and terrains.
-Light or heavy rain does not result in the cancellation of tours. Costa Rica is known for it’s rainforest, so showers are common and unpredictable, even more if you are visiting during the rainy season (April-December). In the event of extremely dangerous weather that forces the crew to cancel the activity booked, you can reschedule (pending availability) or you can apply for a refund.
-Tours/transfers cancellation policy: in the event of COVID related international travel restrictions imposed by the government of Costa Rica or your country of departure, you are entitled to a full refund. In the event of non-COVID related cancellations, all changes must be notified via email or phone. Cancellations informed 48 hours before the actual service time, full refund. Cancellations informed less than 48 hours before the actual service time, no refunds. For cancellations informed less than 24 hours before the service, the client will have to pay for the original service and number of people reserved.
-Fishing/private boating cancellation policy: in the event of COVID related international travel restrictions imposed by the government of Costa Rica or your country of departure, you are entitled to a full refund. In the event of non-COVID related cancellations, all payments are non-refundable if the trip, or any portion of the trip, is cancelled for any reason whatsoever from (0-29) days prior to your arrival.-
-Vacation rentals cancellation policy: in the event of COVID related international travel restrictions imposed by the government of Costa Rica or your country of departure, you are entitled to a full refund. In the event of non-COVID related cancellations, all payments are non-refundable if the trip, or any portion of the trip, is cancelled for any reason whatsoever from (0-29) days prior to your arrival.
