Nauyaca Waterfall

Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park is a private nature park bordering the famous Naucaya Waterfalls and provides the very best access and facilities for enjoying this natural treasure. Spend the day exploring our network of manicured trails through a dense virgin rainforest along the side of the waterfalls and cool off in the many natural pools below the waterfall. Come and enjoy the epic beauty of this Costa Rican natural wonder.

Located a little over 2 hours away from Los Sueños, and considered one of the most beautiful locations in the country, this is a trip to remember. These majestic waterfalls are one of the main attractions of the southern region of Costa Rica, not only for those in search of tranquility and nature, but also for those looking for adventure and excitement. One of the falls is forty-five meters high in free fall and the other twenty meters high in stepped fall, forming at the foot of it, a pool of a thousand square meters and six meters deep. Then there are other natural pools of smaller size, perfect for the enjoyment of the whole family. Upon arriving at the check-in point, you will jump on a 4×4 vehicle for a 30-minute ride that will take you straight to the waterfalls. Once you get to the entrance, you will only walk 150 meters to waterfall #1 and 300 meters with 10 steps to waterfall #2. You can enjoy the falls for 2 hours before returning to the entrance for your second 30-minute 4×4 ride back to the office. Once your visit to Nauyaca is over, you will have time to stop for lunch. And, once you are done with your meal, the driver will start heading back to your rental.
